Whether you have aspirations to work in traditional areas of communication or lean more toward digital and media based media, a Minnesota State Communication Studies Transfer Pathway allows you to complete your associate degree at South Central College and then transfer to a Minnesota State university as a junior to complete a bachelor's.

The Communication Studies Transfer Pathway associate of arts degree offers you a powerful option: the opportunity to complete an associate of arts degree with course credits that directly transfer to a designated bachelor’s degree program at Minnesota State universities.
The curriculum has been specifically designed so that students completing this pathway degree and transferring to a Minnesota State university will enter with junior-year status. All courses in the Communication Studies Transfer Pathway associate degree will directly transfer and apply to designated bachelor’s degree programs in a related field:
